Card Issuing User Guide

This guide will walk users through the step by step process of creating cardholders and value loads in the Berkeley Platform.

How to Create Cardholders & Accounts

  1. Berkeley clients using the Client Portal are required to enter their email address and password provided to them upon sign up to the service. 

  2. If you have not received your login credentials, please contact [email protected].

  3. In the Navigation Bar, click on “Card Issuing.”

  4. In the “Card Issuing” drop down menu, click on Cardholders.

  5. Hit the Create Cardholders button on the top right of the page.

  6. Select the program you wish to create your cardholder with.

  7. A new page will appear, detailing the type of program selected, as well as a Download button on the top right of the page.

  8. Click the Download button to download a CSV file and begin filling out the new cardholders' information.

  9. Details on how to complete the CSV form are shared at the bottom of the page.

  10. Once you are ready, upload the CSV file on the bottom right of the page.

    1. If you receive an error, you can view the CSV Field Details table for more information, or contact [email protected] for more information.
  11. Once the CSV has been accepted, a success message will appear on the top of the page.

How to Create Value Loads

  4. In the “Card Issuing” drop down menu, click on Value Loads.

  5. Hit the Create Value Loads button on the top right of the page.

  6. A new page will appear, with a Download button on the top right of the page.

  7. Click the Download button to download a CSV file and begin filling out the Value Load details.

  8. Details on how to complete the CSV form are shared at the bottom of the page.

  9. Once you are ready, upload the CSV file on the bottom right of the page.

  10. Once the CSV has been accepted, a success message will appear at the top of the page.
